Spinning Planet, a professional web design and hosting company, was first started in New Zealand by Brynn Neilson in April, 2000.

Having previously been co-owner of NZMADE.COM a New Zealand based Web Design and Hosting company that had developed the Internet technology for HollywoodMusic.com, and websites for EziBuy Clothing Limited, Millennium Technology and many other prominent companies, Mr Neilson decided to travel the World and build his new company, Spinning Planet. With help from friends and family Spinning Planet LLC (SPUS) was formed in the United States in 2001.

Within a year the Arizona based company had attained a core clientèle and in 2002 Mr Neilson returned to New Zealand to continue the development of Spinning Planet New Zealand. Spinning Planet LLC USA is now directed by Don Granniss who is the primary contact for sales and support to United States clients. Spinning Planet New Zealand in Palmerston North is now the base of operations with a core business in Internet technology and Design supplied mostly to partner companies in the design, marketing and computer support industries.
